Chelation is the use of a substance to bind with metals in order to pull them out of tissue, and drag them into the blood where they can then be filtered out to the kidney.

Its use predates the pharmacologic era. It has been used for an array of medical conditions, especially cardiovascular. Interest in it from conventional medicine waned with the advent of stents and drug therapy.

How it Works

We use Calcium EDTA for our Chelation Therapy. EDTA can latch onto metals and pull out toxic metals from their hiding places such as in the bones and other organs, and pull them into the bloodstream where they can be eliminated through the kidneys. Each chelation therapy is patient-specific.

Chelation and Testing Process

The goal of chelation is to reduce your risk of heart disease, dementia, cancer, and other chronic degenerative consequences from heavy metals.


You’ll receive an IV of calcium EDTA, in 250 mL normal saline in over 30-60 minutes. This agent pulls metals out of the body into the bloodstream which can be passed out through the urine and properly measured.


The client will be given a urine collection kit where urine is collected for 6-8 hours, after which a urine sample is sent for testing. The result can take up to 2 weeks.


Once the results show the number of toxic metals accumulated in the body, a plan is created to reduce and possibly eliminate the toxic metals.
