Medical Weight Loss for Lasting Health

At Serene Infusion & Wellness Lounge, we understand that weight loss is a vital step toward restoring health, energy, and confidence. With nearly 40% of U.S. adults living with obesity, many face not only excess weight but also challenges such as metabolic dysfunction, insulin resistance, and cardiovascular risk that make typical diet and exercise less effective. Our weight management program combines evidence based medications and peptides with tailored nutrition and movement strategies. We offer compounded Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, prepared in licensed compounding pharmacies under prescription. These therapies are used as supportive tools alongside lifestyle changes for adults with elevated BMI and medical considerations.

Every compounded medication we provide is sourced from FDA-licensed ingredients and tested for potency, sterility, and purity. While distinct from brand-name drugs made in large batches, compounded formulations allow for greater precision in dose and administration, personalized to each patient. Each plan at Serene Infusion is guided by licensed professionals. For safety and quality, we partner exclusively with reputable sterile compounding pharmacies in the U.S.

According to the FDA, Obesity and overweight are serious conditions that can be associated with some of the leading causes of death such as heart disease, stroke and diabetes.”  (John Sharretts, M.D., director of the Division of Diabetes, Lipid Disorders, and Obesity in the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research)

Semaglutide

This is a glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1), One role of GLP-1 is to prompt the body to produce more insulin, which reduces blood sugar (glucose). But GLP-1 in higher amounts also interacts with the parts of the brain that suppress your appetite and signal you to feel full. When used in conjunction with diet and exercise, it can cause significant weight loss — and a reduced risk of cancer, diabetes and heart disease — in people who are obese or overweight.

An early study of 2,000 obese adults compared people using Semaglutide plus a diet and exercise program with people who made the same lifestyle changes without Semaglutide. After 68 weeks, half of the participants using Semaglutide lost 15% of their body weight, and nearly a third lost 20%. Participants who incorporated only lifestyle changes lost about 2.4% of their weight.

The FDA recommends Semaglutide for weight loss if you meet one of the following criteria:

  • Have a body mass index (BMI) of 27kg/m2 or greater and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes or high cholesterol.

  • Have a BMI of 30kg/m2 or greater

What are the side effects of semaglutide injections?
The side effects of semaglutide are typically mild — especially when compared to the complications associated with overweight and obesity.

  • Dizziness

  • Fatigue

  • Gastrointestinal issues, such as diarrhea, constipation, and gassiness

  • Headache

Tirzepatide

Tirzepatide is a once-weekly GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) receptor and GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptor agonist, representing a new class of medicines studied for the treatment of obesity. is a single peptide that triggers the body’s receptors for GIP and GLP-1, two natural incretin hormones. Tirzepatide can also be administered with certain vitamin therapies that enhance the process.

GIP has decreased food intake and increased energy expenditure, resulting in weight reductions. Combined with a GLP-1 receptor agonist, it has a more significant effect on glucose and body weight effects.

  • Substantial A1C reductions

  • Boosted weight loss

  • Improvements in cardiometabolic measures

  • Reduced appetite
